• Immediate Postoperative Period (1st - 2nd days)

  Resting: After the FUE procedure, you will be asked to rest briefly in the clinic to make sure you are stable before leaving. After you are discharged, you will receive a special aftercare package and the necessary medication, and your private driver will escort you to the hotel.

• 2nd-4th Weeks

  Scabbing and Hair Loss: It is common for transplanted hair to be lost in the first few months.
  This is a normal part of the hair growth cycle. Scabbing in the recipient area is also part of the recovery. You should not scratch the scabs. Your medical consultant will provide you with instructions on how to wash your hair to remove the scab.

• Long Term Recovery (6-12 Months and Beyond)

Hair Transplant Incisions: Although FUE, DHI or Blend Duo hair transplant scars and incisions are generally similar to each other, there may be slight differences depending on the technique to be used. Here are scars and incisions according to techniques:

A.) In FUE Hair Transplant Technique

1.Donor Area Scarring: The primary area where FUE involves incisions and potential scars is the donor area. In FUE Hairtransplant of these follicles:

• Micro Incision: Instead of a single long incision, FUE employs a series of very small, circular or elliptical micro-incisions in the donor area. These incisions are typically 0.7 mm to 1.0 mm in diameter. The size of the incisions is deliberately kept small to minimize scarring.
• Scarring: The individual micro-incisions in FUE are designed to heal with minimal scarring. These small, round or elliptical scars are often called “punch scars”. Scars are at the micro level and are not visible after recovery after hair transplant.

2. Recipient Area Scarring: The recipient area where the hair grafts are transplanted also has small incisions. However, these incisions are typically very small and heal quickly. They typically do not cause noticeable scars.

B.) In DHI Hair Transplant

• Donor Area Scarring: DHI aims to minimize scarring in the donor area where hair follicles are harvested (typically the back and sides of the scalp). The small puncture marks or incisions used for follicle extraction are usually quite small and not noticeable to the eye.
• Recipient Area Scarring: The small incisions made with the Choi pen or implanter tool are designed to heal quickly and leave small, barely visible scars. The aim is to create a natural-looking hairline without visible scarring. For this reason, the scars in the recipient area in the hair transplant operation are too small to be visible.
