5. Graft Preparation

   Sorting: Live grafts are sorted by the number of hair follicles in each unit. Single hair follicles are usually placed in zig zags at the front hairline for a more natural look, while grafts with multiple follicles are used to create density in other areas.

6. Graft Implantation

   After the recipient areas are created, the prepared grafts are meticulously implanted into these incisions.There are two stages of graft implantation in hair transplant:

• Immediate Postoperative Period ( 1st  to 3rd days)

• 3rd-7th Days

• 2nd-4th Weeks

  Scabbing and Hair Loss: It is common to lose the transplanted hair in the first few months. This is a normal part of the hair growth cycle. Scabbing in the recipient area is also part of the recovery. You should not scratch the scabs. Your medical consultant will provide you with instructions on how to wash your hair to remove the scab.

• Long Term Recovery (6-12 Months and Beyond)
